We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Content Moderator to manage and grow our online community. This role involves fostering engagement, managing interactions, and ensuring a positive experience for all members across our global community on Discord, Reddit, and other social platforms. The role requires proficiency in English and Brazilian Portuguese to cater to local language needs

What does a day in the life of a Content Moderator look like?

• Community Engagement:
  • Engage with community members in English and the local language (Spanish, Portuguese), ensuring positive interactions across Discord, Reddit, and other social media platforms.
• Content Creation & Community Events:
  • Create and schedule content tailored to each language group, including content for community events, contests, and special initiatives. Ensure all community posts and discussions align with community guidelines.
• Community Growth:
  • Develop strategies to grow the community base in the local language regions. Implement initiatives to increase engagement and drive meaningful participation across Discord, Reddit, and other social channels.
• Feedback Collection & Reporting:
  • Gather feedback from the community and collaborate with the product, engineering teams, and other departments to relay any critical issues or suggestions for improvement.
• Collaboration with Teams:
  • Collaborate closely with community managers, community moderators, and the Community Lead to ensure cohesive community management. Work together to align on strategies, ensure consistent support, and maintain a positive and engaging community environment. Additionally, collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure community needs are met and relay any necessary technical feedback.
