What you'll do

• Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for web applications.
• Design and execute automated test cases for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to understand requirements and provide automation solutions.
• Analyze test results, report defects, and track them through resolution.
• Continuously improve automation frameworks, tools, and processes to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance on automation best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in automation testing, Selenium, Cypress, and related tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation challenges across various platforms and environments.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Must be fluent in English and willing to work in EST time zone.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in automation engineering with a focus on web application testing.
• Proven expertise in using Selenium and Cypress for test automation.
• Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and best practices.
• Experience in writing and maintaining automated tests using JavaScript, or similar programming languages.
• Proficiency in version control systems like Git.
• Solid experience with continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with performance testing and tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Knowledge of cloud testing frameworks and tools.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
