Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with supplier and client base through face-to-face meetings, emails and telephone calls
• Procure material
• Perform inspection of material to ensure quality
• Monitor prices and market trends in order to talk intelligently to suppliers about the market procure material
• Support suppliers and clients in issues they face regarding their orders, in collaboration with the Back Office department

Qualifications & Competencies

• Experience in a similar commercial or logistics role in commodity trading sector (ideally in Recovered Paper, Plastics or Metals)
• Familiarity with the Paper and Recycling industry (especially paper mills and recycling plants)
• Native speaker of Spanish or Portuguese. Proficiency in English is a must. Additional languages will be an advantage
• Strong commercial acumen / negotiation skills
• Availability for business travel
• Good numerical skills and attention to detail
• Adaptive to change, and ability to work under pressure
• Strong decision-making ability
