Role Overview

We’re seeking a Senior Paid Media Strategist who can walk in and immediately contribute by developing full-funnel paid media strategies, mentoring junior team members, and overseeing performance across Google, Meta, LinkedIn, and other platforms. This contract role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, remote environments and brings a strategic mindset with hands-on campaign expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead paid media strategy and execution for client campaigns across Google, Meta, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
  • Define, monitor, and optimize KPIs tied to client goals (e.g., ROAS, CPL, CTR, CPA).
  • Audit and improve campaigns run by junior paid media specialists.
  • Train and mentor junior media buyers on performance optimization, ad copy, targeting, and platform updates.
  • Oversee and collaborate on creative briefs, audience segmentation, and messaging strategies.
  • Manage the ad funnel holistically—including retargeting, landing page alignment, and cross-channel coordination.
  • Guide landing page performance, lead conversion tracking, and UTM parameters.
  • Produce clear performance dashboards and reports for client-facing account teams.
  • Serve as the paid media subject matter expert in internal meetings and client strategy sessions.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 5+ years in paid media and digital advertising with deep Google Ads and Meta Ads experience.
  • Proven ability to create and scale performance-driven campaigns.
  • Fluent in performance analytics, A/B testing frameworks, bidding strategies, and audience segmentation.
  • Strong background managing teams or mentoring junior talent.
  • Google Ads Certification required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field.
  • Bonus: Experience with LinkedIn Ads, TikTok Ads, HubSpot CRM, or bilingual campaigns.

What You Bring

  • Proficiency in Google Ads (Search, Display, Retargeting)
  • Experience with Google Analytics and data analysis
  • Understanding of campaign strategy, targeting, and optimization
  • Familiarity with campaign reporting tools and dashboard creation
  • Experience with Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, or TikTok Ads
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking
  • Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks
  • Proactive and self-directed with strong attention to detail
  • Strategic mindset and performance orientation.
  • Leadership and teaching skills to support junior specialists.
  • Confidence in explaining performance metrics and strategic pivots to internal stakeholders.
  • Clear, proactive communication style.
  • Ownership mindset and a collaborative spirit.
