Job Title: ELV Programmer & Supervisor – Security & Low Voltage Systems

Location: Project-Based (with travel as required)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on ELV Programmer who can supervise, program, and commission various Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) systems, including CCTV, Access Control Systems (ACS), and Public Address & Voice Alarm (PAVA) systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical installations and deep technical knowledge of security and life safety systems. The role requires someone who can manage installation teams, ensure system functionality, and program and integrate complex solutions.

Key Responsibilities:Supervision & Coordination

• Oversee on-site ELV installation works ensuring compliance with design, standards, and safety.
• Coordinate between subcontractors, installation teams, and project engineers.
• Conduct site surveys to verify cable routing, conduit readiness, and device placement.
• Report on progress, issues, and timelines to project management.

Programming & Configuration

• Program and configure security systems including:
• CCTV systems (NVR/DVR setup, camera configuration, system integration)
• Access Control Systems (ACS) (card reader configuration, user group setup, controller programming)
• PAVA systems (zone setup, amplifier tuning, speaker testing, system logic)
• Integrate multiple ELV systems into centralized platforms (if applicable).
• Conduct system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.

Documentation & Handover

• Prepare as-built drawings, configuration backups, and operation manuals.
• Perform and document Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
• Train client representatives or end-users on system operations.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, IT or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in ELV systems installation and programming.
• Hands-on experience with brands like Honeywell, Bosch, Hikvision, Axis, Avigilon, Genetec, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of wiring diagrams, system schematics, and commissioning protocols.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as NFPA, EN54, BS5839, or equivalents.

• Attention to detail and system logic

Preferred Certifications (Not Mandatory):

• Honeywell Notifier / Pro-Watch / WIN-PAK
• Bosch PAVIRO / PRAESENSA Programming
• Genetec Security Center Certification
• KNX or Crestron for BMS/Integration (a plus)

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to travel as per project needs
• Ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts or weekends if required during commissioning
• Good command of English (spoken and written)

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 6 months

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Bogotá, Cundinamarca: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 100% (Preferred)
