Bookkeeper - Bilingual

Latorre Law Firm, an established U.S. law firm with 14 offices throughout several states, has an immediate opening for a Bilingual Bookkeeper. The ideal candidate will have 3 or more years of experience as a bookkeeper, excellent organization, time management, and customer service experience. Must be able to read and write in English.

Key Responsibilities

• Process invoices, bills, checks, and deposits
• Reconcile statements, accounts, and ledgers
• Post journal entries and generate financial reports
• Assist in payroll processing and payroll report reconciliation
• Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes
• Collaborate with accounting team members to support tax filings

Requirements:

• 3+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish. Must be able to read and write in English.
• Expertise in QuickBooks (Desktop & Online) and Microsoft Excel
• Willingness to learn and implement new accounting technologies
• Time Management: Ability to juggle multiple clients and deadlines
• Problem-Solving: Proactively recognize issues and develop solutions
• Attention to Detail: Ability to double-check work for accuracy
• Must have own desk top computer no more than 3 years old.
• Office or private work area.
• Good internet connection.
