We are looking for a professional and reliable Bilingual Legal Call Center Specialist to answer incoming calls for a U.S.-based law firm and connect callers with the appropriate legal department.

This is primarily a call-handling and call-routing position. You will receive training on the firm’s departments, call procedures, systems, and how to determine where each caller should be transferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls professionally and courteously
• Communicate with callers in both Spanish and English
• Listen to the caller and identify the general reason for their call
• Route and transfer calls to the appropriate department or team member
• Handle calls involving departments such as:
• Personal Injury
• Immigration
• Criminal Defense
• Other legal departments as directed
• Follow established call-routing procedures
• Collect basic caller information when required
• Accurately document call information in the firm’s system
• Take messages when the appropriate team member is unavailable
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when handling sensitive information
• Participate in training and learn the firm’s departments, terminology, and call procedures

Requirements

• Fluent Spanish
• Strong spoken English
• Clear and professional communication skills
• Comfortable handling a high volume of inbound phone calls
• Professional and friendly phone manner
• Strong listening skills and attention to detail
• Ability to quickly determine where a call should be routed
• Comfortable learning basic legal terminology and different areas of law
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software
• Reliable internet connection
• Quiet, professional work environment
• Ability to follow procedures and training consistently
• Previous legal experience is a plus, but not required

Training

Training will be provided on the firm’s legal departments, call-routing procedures, systems, and expectations.

Candidates with strong call center, customer service, receptionist, or phone support experience are encouraged to apply.

Independent Contractor Position:

This is a full-time independent contractor position. Paid time off, employee benefits, and similar benefits are not provided.

Compensation is reviewed annually, and rate increases may be considered based on performance and continued engagement. Rate increases are not provided during the year.
