Eaton’s Protection, Control & Solutions (PCS) business is seeking a Director, Segment and Channel Growth, Latin America. This position can be based in any location within the LATAM region.

Position Overview:

Reporting directly to the VP/GM, LATAM PCS, Electrical Americas, the Director will play a central role in an important transformation across Latin America. This leader will shape strategy and performance across a $590M business spanning Industrial, Data Center, Utilities, C&I/Residential, Channel Partners, Strategic Accounts, and multiple countries. While directly leading five regional leaders, the Director will have broader enterprise impact by influencing a highly matrixed organization and partnering with Regional Leadership, Strategic Account Management, Marketing, Portfolio Management, Commercial Excellence, Operations, and Finance to accelerate growth and deliver business results.

The Director owns the segment and channel perspective, growth priorities, and associated recommendations, while partnering with regional and functional leaders who retain accountability for commercial execution, portfolio decisions, and operating results. The Director also translates customer insights, Voice of Customer (VoC) feedback, industry trends, and competitive intelligence into actionable recommendations that shape the region’s integrated growth strategy, portfolio priorities, and demand-generation initiatives.

Essential Functions:
  • Own the customer, market, application and ecosystem perspective for assigned segments across Latin America.
  • Define segment-specific priorities, customer focus areas, applications, use cases, and value pools; identify and recommend corresponding growth opportunities.
  • Translate insights into recommendations for Regional Strategy & Growth, Portfolio, Demand Generation and Investment Decisions.
  • Partner with Marketing and Strategy & Growth to shape where-to-play and how-to-win choices.
  • Translate segment needs into value propositions, roadmap inputs, localization and new-product priorities.
  • Support strategic and complex opportunities requiring segment expertise or cross-regional coordination.
  • Define segment requirements for campaigns, content, thought leadership, channel engagement and customer programs with Brand & MarCom and portfolio managers.
  • Build relationships with strategic customers, associations, ecosystem partners and influencers to deepen insight and validate priorities.
  • Monitor segment performance, market share, customer adoption and strategic-initiative progress; recommend corrective actions.
  • Contribute segment expertise to strategic planning, forecasting, business reviews and growth roadmaps.
  • Develop segment capability and knowledge across commercial and business organizations.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Segment Management, Business Development, Marketing, Commercial Strategy, Sales or General Management.
  • Demonstrated success translating customer and market insights into segment priorities and growth opportunities across multiple countries.
  • Experience aligning Marketing, Portfolio and commercial stakeholders in complex matrix organizations.
  • Latin America regional experience strongly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Deep knowledge of customer segments, applications, ecosystems, buying criteria and competitive dynamics.
  • Customer insight, market segmentation, Voice of Customer, value-pool analysis and value-proposition development.
  • Working knowledge of Strategy & Growth, Portfolio, go-to-market, market intelligence, forecasting and performance management.
  • Ability to frame clear recommendations for Marketing, Portfolio and Regional execution.
  • Fluency in English and either Spanish or Portuguese is required; proficiency in all three languages is strongly preferred.

Education:
  • An undergraduate degree is required. A Master’s degree is preferred.
