The Role We are seeking a talented and cost-effective Freelance Draftsman and 3D Designer to support our team remotely. In this role, you will be our go-to partner for updating existing architectural drawings and creating compelling 3D renderings that help our clients visualize their projects before construction begins. This is a flexible, remote contract position perfect for a freelancer looking for consistent, project-based work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Update, modify, and refine existing 2D architectural drawings, floor plans, and elevations.
• Create high-quality, realistic 3D renderings for residential spaces (kitchens, baths, exteriors, etc.).
• Translate rough sketches, field measurements, and design concepts into precise digital plans.
• Deliver accurate files in standard formats (e.g., PDF, DWG, SketchUp, RVT) within agreed-upon deadlines.
• Collaborate and communicate clearly with our US-based project managers and team members.
• Perform quick turnarounds on design revisions based on team or client feedback.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in residential architectural drafting and 3D rendering is recommended.
• A portfolio showcasing previous 2D floor plans and 3D residential renderings is required to be considered.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Chief Architect, Revit, Lumion, or similar).
• 2020 Kitchen Design Software Experience
• Familiarity with US residential construction methods, terminology, and remodeling standards is a strong plus.
• Excellent written communication skills in English.
• Reliable high-speed internet, your own workstation, and active software licenses.
• Highly dependable, organized, and capable of managing your own time to meet project deadlines.

Pay and Structure:

• Salary: $7 - $10 x hour
• Position Type: Freelance / Independent Contractor (1099 equivalent).
• Compensation: Competitive freelance rates.
